Hello from Mrs. Van Dyck!
I have been teaching young people for a long time. ( I may have taught your parents!) I enjoy teaching all subjects, however, my very favorite subject is social studies. I find it interesting to learn about the people and places of the world.
I am orginally from Vermont, but have lived in Alaska since 1974. I am married to my husband Jeff who is a commerical fisherman. We have two grown up children, Katrina who is a nurse and Ben who is also a commerical fisherman.
I enjoy traveling, gardening, walking, swimming, and nature. I am looking forward to a great year of learning.
